Today we get the 4wd back! We waited until 9am and they hadn't rang us so we decided to walk down to them anyway.
They rang us just as we were getting to them to say it was ready. When we arrived I noticed they put the wheels on the wrong way around to what we told them to do! They put the new tyres on the front, when I asked them to make sure they go back on the rear so we had to wait while they sorted that issue.
After about 30 minutes they finally got it sorted. The 4wd is a lot higher with the new suspension but it will settle down quite a bit.
We decided to pop out to Molly Springs as that was one of the places we couldnt see the other day. And wow what a beautiful little hidden gem this place was. It is only a short walk and has crystal clear water at the base of a water fall for a swim.
However we decided to walk to the top and there was a private little rock pool right at the top which we could have stayed in all day. A little fresh when first getting in but fine once in.
We then popped into the supermarket on the way back and grabbed a few last minute items before going back to camp to have lunch....a late lunch.
After lunch we popped out to have a look at a fishing spot recommended to us by a friend that lived in the area for 12 months. We could see it would be a good spot but it was really over grown and we didn't feel like bush bashing with the crocs and snakes to get to the waters edge.
So we went around the corner to the boat ramp. The water was running really fast and it was very snaggy, i lost 3 set ups but caught a little brim.
We didn't like that spot so we went up the road to under the big bridge and again I managed a snag so at this stage I was happy to sit and watch Karen who caught a cat fish haha funny thing it was and made weird sounds. I put it back to live another day as we wasn't sure what they were like to eat.
It was now getting dark so we grabbed a gas bottle refill on the way back. Got back to camp had tea, watched footy and went to bed ready to finally get out of here the next day.
But we loved our time in Kununurra and we would definately come back, so much to see and do and so little time to do it all.
