We wanted to do the walks in the area so this morning we drove up to the Jenemoom walk which is a 3klm walk along the Keep river to a sacred Aboriginal site. It is a very large overhang on the escarpment that has some art and many stories to tell over the 1000's of years.
We then did the Gingers Hill walk which is just a few hundred metres up to a rock shelter that the Aboriginal people used to light a fire and entice hawks down to them so they could catch them for food.
Then we popped down the road to Cockatoo Lagoon. Karen wandered around and took some photos, there is also a little visitors centre with a lot of information on the area. This is also where the rangers station is located.
After that we spent the day relaxing back at camp in this beautiful camp ground. We flew the drone around for a look, cooked a yummy pork meal, watch some footy and motorsport and then went to bed.
