Just a simple travel day today. We packed up and headed out around 10am and drove about 90 minutes down to Katherine.
We decided to stay at the big 4 caravan park again. There are a multitude of options around here to stay but we are creatures of habit or comfort and we know this park now and like it so we were comfortable coming back.
We will stay here for 4 nights at least to prepare for the Gibb River Road. Ill service the ute and clean everything up, pretty much have a reset and restock for the big adventure ahead. I want to check everything as best as I can to make sure we have no loose nuts or bolts etc.
Once we set up camp we went to the post office to collect a heap of mail that has been sitting here waiting for us for quite a while then of course we had to go to an Op shop haha
Back to camp to relax for the arvo.
I cooked a roast lamb and veggies on the weber yummo
Watched a bit of telly and then to bed. I have a bit of goat in my right toe that is hurting.
