Yet another very lazy day today which given my sore toe is very much needed.
I started the day by servicing the car, the oil that came out of it was black as black. I also did some more organizing in the back of the ute plus I got up on the roof of the caravan and cleaned the solar panels, they were the dirtiest I have seen them.
Besides a few more visual checks I think we are as ready as we can be to tackle the next adventure which is the notorious Gibb River Road.
After lunch we popped into Katherine to grab a bbq scrubber for the weber and drove around for a while so karen could take some street photos. We also grabbed another parcel from the post office.
Back at camp we decided to grab some bait and popped down to the low level crossing and did a little bit of fishing. It was really snaggy in the river so all we were doing was loosing gear but karen did manage to foul hook a tiny little barra!
I cooked burgers on the weber for tea and we went inside to watch a bit of telly then bed.
