Today is what we like to call restock day. When on the road you have pack up day and set up day which takes up a day if you allow it, we prefer to try and make these days count by doing something and restock day is the same.
But before that we decided to do a walk in the national park that our camp ground has surrounding it. We did do a couple of kilometres in it but we didnt get to the lookouts etc as they were several kays away, again we figured we would do it another day but our time is running out in this area. Cant see everything.
Our brakes on the 4wd have had this annoying squeal that I havent been able to sort out so I pulled the whole brake assembly out for a look. I can see where it is coming from and I tried a little adjustment to fix it but it is still there every so slightly or perhaps there is another wheel making a noise haha It is not terrible by any means but I just l;ike to keep on top of these things.
Then we did our restock. Which consists of buying enough food to last us the next 3-4 weeks as we will be very remote or at best the supplies will be way over priced.
We spent over $300 which is fine given the time frame.
Back at camp we then had the tetris task of getting everything to fit in the fridge and cupboards.
Not long after that Karen had a photoshoot she organised down at Ivanhoe crossing. So we popped down there for golden hour and got back at dark.
We cooked tea, watched telly and went to bed.
