We packed up pretty leisurely, emptied our loo and headed up to Merl Campground which is right near Ubirr Lookout and Cahills Crossing.
To our surprise the camp ground was very quiet so we grabbed a really nice spot and set up.
We then popped up to Cahills Crossing to see if we could see a croc but as expected there is way too much water around Kakadu for croc to be feeding here.
We had a look at Ubirr to see what we had to do later that night then after looking around some of the boat ramps we went back to camp.
It was stupid hot again so we jumped in the car and drove back into Jabiru to grab a new can of insect repellant and took the time to grab photos of anything we could on the trip.
Once back at camp we got ready to go to Ubirr. We did the Aboriginal Art walk which was really good then we walked up to the top of the look out sunset.
It was a great view of Kakadu and way out into Arnhem land.
The sun went down behind a cloud so it wasn't the sunset we were looking for but still well and truly worth the walk up to see the view.
Once back at camp we watched some of the footy but eneded up watching a movie instead.
It was another very hot night.
