This morning we went and had a look at the massive 2 story Bunnings and bought a little cooler and some ice blocks to try and keep our bait fresh when fishing.
Then popped into BCF and grabbed some bait before going to Nightcliff Jetty to do some fishing. On the way I grabbed some KFC because i forgot to have breakfast (no wonder im getting bigger and bigger)
There were a lot of little fish off the jetty and we both caught several but nothing of a decent size. But we stuck it out for several hours as it was still fun catching the little ones.
We have learnt that pillchers and prawns do not stay on the hooks, the little fish just take it off too easy.
After fishing we went to Anaconda so Karen could buy a couple of sun shirts, then we did some grocery shopping and went back to camp.
I cooked a lemon chicken meal and we watched a bit of telly and went to bed. The heat and sun takes it out of you up here.
