We didnt rush to pack up this morning but still managed to pack up, refill the water tank and empty our loo all before 9.
We topped up with fuel and drove up the road to Edith Falls.
We arrived way too early but no one was in our site so we parked up anyway. The sites are all blocked off and they only really allow a narrow strip along side the camp site road to camp, which is very weird.
We went for a walk around the place to have a look at the falls but sadly there was no swimming in the lower water hole due to crocs.
Karen did her best to photograph the birds but for the most part we sat around in the shade and even had a little nap at one stage haha
We decided to have a fairly major change of plans due to Litchfield and Kakadu having several major attractions still closed due to the late rains they had recently. So we will give ourselves the best chance for all those to open and go to Darwin for a few weeks instead.
We cooked a yummy barby and then headed inside to some aircon to dodge the insects and watch some telly before bed.
