We didn't have a great nights sleep due to the relentless heat so we were up pretty early and packing up.
There were millions of dead insects on our ground mat because we left an outside light on!
We packed up and got away around 9 or so after ha ving a lengthy chat to another couple who pulled up yesterday to camp, they had the same bad night from heat as we did.
We got to Jabiru and booked into the Kakadu Lodge Caravan park for a few nights. Its a nice large place and they allow you to choose your own site. So we grabbed a nice shady site near the pool and bar and got that air conditioning cranking within 2 minutes of stopping haha
We popped some washing on, had a look at the pool area and the4n headed into Jabiru to grab some fuel and have a look at the supermarket.
We didn't need anything in the supermarket because we resupplied in the city but we still managed to spend $50!!
Back to camp to grab the washing and hang it up then we went to the pool bar area for happy hour. We only had one drink because even happy hour is expensive for a tiny glass.
I put together the roast we cooked the night before and that was pretty much our night done, we were so tired from the previous nights heat wave.
