Day 127 Monkey Mia and Shark Bay

We had to be up early today because we had to be at the Dolphin experience at Monkey Mia by 7:30am and it was quite a drive to get there.

The whole monkey mia area is very touristy and they charge $15 each to see the dolphins but no guarantees they will be there of course.

So along with 100's of other tourists we all line up and wait for the dolphins to come in, which 2 or 3 did for us. They gave them a little feed of course and after about an hour the show finished.

You then have to leave the beach for a while a so the dolphins know the first feed is over and we all go back again about an hour later to do it all again! This time we had a turtle join us well.

We then had a look at the touristy shops where Karen of course spent a lot of money hahaha

We went back to Denham and grabbed some fish and chips which we ate back at camp and they were very good.

Then we went to what they call little lagoon which is a blue water and white sand lagoon but it has an inlet that has the red sand meeting the white sand and blue water. So of course we spent quite a bit of time droning and capturing this.

After that we drove all the way out to Big Lagoon, which is of course is a similar thing but a lot larger. We also spent quite a while capturing this. It is more like a large bay really but it also has the red sand cliffs meeting the water.

We went back to camp and Karen decided some of the clothes she bought earlier in the day didn't fit so we had to drive all the way back out to Monkey Mia to exchange these!!

By the time we got back it was too late to cook the meatloaf I was going to make so we went to the supermarket and I grabbed some marinated chicken ribs to cook instead.

We had tea and went to bed.
