Day 125 Quobba Blowholes to Gladstone Bay Camp

We packed up reasonably early as we had a little bit of a drive down the coast.

We had another last look for some whales on the way out and did some drone footage of the area before we left.

But around 200 kays down the road we pulled into a camp called Gladstone Bay campground. We got a spot right on the beach. It was low tide when we got there so the water was a long way out along these sandy mud type flats but the high tide line was only metres from our van.

There wasn't a lot to do and it was only an overnight stop on our way to Monkey Mia but wow what an awesome location for a camp site.

We went for a longish walk out to the old wrecked jetty.

Then we made pizzas for tea and watched collingwood lose yet another game before heading to bed.
